I can’t believe I am blogging 7th day in row. I feel proud of myself.
Few days back i visited my mom and found some of my childhood Christmas books. I loved them as child! They have so beautiful pictures, I loved to look at them (and I like to look at them now). One thing was common in all the festive books I had – poems. A lot of Christmas poems. In Latvia we have a tradition – children have to count a pome to get present.
I hope you all have Christmas mood on. I can’t wait when I will be able decorate my place for Christmas. I am making my Christmas playslist and buying gifts. If you haven’t bought Christmas gifts yet I have made this amazing 112 (!) Christmas gift guide. Hope you can find some inspiration!
Oh, and I have some amazing news too! This year I will be writing Blogmas posts. That mean 24 for Christmas posts starting from 1st December. And I will be writing my regular posts as well 🙂 Oh ho ho!
Is spring yet? I miss warm weather, sun, first spring flowers, other spring flowers, to fell in love with myself, my life and the city I live in. To fell in love wiht urban colours and materials, culture and people.
I can’t believe it’s Febraury already! It seems like just few days ago we celabrated New Year and thought what will be 2015 but now red hearts are starting appear everywhere. I’m not a biggest fan of Valentines day. And can’t explain it. But i like to see red hearts, roses, chocolate and everything cheesy. Something about that simply makes me happy.
How I miss snow in the winter. I was missing it in December, I am missing it now, and I will be misssing it in Febraury. For this mont I have collected my favorite memories with/about snow and everything white. Enjoy!
Oh, hello December, didn’t see you coming so soon. So I am few days late for my monthly inspiration. I hope it’s fine.
For many people it my seem vary strange but I still havent got my Christmas tree nor I have bought gifts. All things Christmas and festive appears in December. On the streets, in every store. So the theme for December is inspiration for gifts to everyone you love.
Recently I have been looking for inspiration everywhere. Reading some really great blogs, for hours scrolling Instagram, watch Pretty Little Liars agains (oh, the fashion and drama). In the midle of all that I found amazing latvian models. One of them – Ginta Lapina – stood out the most. She recently was walking on the runway for Alexander Wang x H&M. Ginta has worked with Sephora, H&M, Just Cavalli, YSL, Celine and many more, was on cover for Elle France, Vogue Mexico etc. She inspires me to do more and follow my dreams!
